McGlothern should have been long gone. The Bills pounced, and earned a B.

The Bills spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Dwight McGlothern, the No. 175 name on the board, in pick No. 206.

Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. On the needs board they went 6 of 9, with linebacker the one that mattered most.

Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball. The phones were busy but the ledger stayed level.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
