Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Mason Taylor got past him. The Saints do not have to explain a thing at the 182nd overall pick. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

The Rourke pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. The Saints indulged a want in Paul Jr. while a need in cornerback and wide receiver stayed open. Leaving cornerback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
