Draft Grade — Bills
Overall B
ValueA+ NeedB TradesC FutureB-
The Bills won the night they stopped Harris from sliding. Grade: B.

Somebody in Round 6, Pick 30 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Bills sat still while Tre Harris, the No. 50 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

The linebacker hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Offensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but linebacker.

Pick Analysis
Pick30 Rnd1 Kenneth Grant
In Round 1, Pick 30 they get an anchor for the defensive front at a price that makes it sweeter. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick56 Rnd2 Shemar Stewart
Shemar Stewart at the Round 2 slot is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick62 Rnd2 Jahdae Barron
The board fumbled Jahdae Barron all the way to the 62nd pick, and they scooped it up. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
Pick84 Rnd3 Nick Emmanwori
Steal is underselling it; Nick Emmanwori at pick No. 84 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick132 Rnd4 Armand Membou
You do not let an offensive lineman like Armand Membou reach the 132nd overall pick and blink. They did not. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick173 Rnd5 Azareye'h Thomas
Taking Azareye'h Thomas in No. 173 is close to grand larceny; a cornerback that good had no business lasting this long. Depth on depth, at a spot that was hardly crying out.
Pick177 Rnd6 Alfred Collins
Alfred Collins at pick 177 is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick206 Rnd6 Tre Harris
They robbed the room for Tre Harris here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
