The board owed the Bengals one, and it paid up: Danny Stutsman, the No. 85 name on the board, sitting there at the 152nd overall pick like a gift left on the doorstep. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

They will regret leaving cornerback for another day if the season turns on it. They are betting Wilson proves the room right and everyone else wrong.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
