You could see the war room lean forward. Myles Harden at slot 238 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did.

They will need Washington to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. The trade table is where this weekend went wrong.

They have staked the next five years on Caleb Williams, which is the only story that really matters here. Leaving running back unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

The verdict is not kind, and fairly so; this class has a hill to climb.
