The trade table was a mismatch, and the Lions were on the right end of it, hauling in a fortune in surplus value. A dependable weekend that grades out a B+.

They will need Jefferson to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. The Mahogany steal is the beam this whole class leans on. Leaving linebacker unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
