The Titans torched the value chart for Javon Foster, taking him 35 spots sooner than anyone had him slotted. More right than wrong, and a B to match.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. They will answer for taking cornerback early while edge rusher, interior defensive lineman and other spots went begging. The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

That is a wide receiver worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
