The Commanders cashed the board's mistake on McClain: B.

The Commanders did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Jaylen McClain fell into the Round 5 slot. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

The tight end spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Every board in the league had Harbor lower, and that gap is the story.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
