Larceny in pick No. 187 lands the Seahawks a B-, Skattebo and all.

The Seahawks did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Cam Skattebo fell into the 187th pick. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.

The cost of the McCord reach is exactly the players who went right after him. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
