You could see the war room lean forward. Chris Paul Jr. at pick No. 163 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. A dependable weekend that grades out a B-.

The Burnip pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. The Steelers indulged a want in Burnip while a need in quarterback, interior defensive lineman and other spots stayed open. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
