After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Broncos committed. Bo Nix is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. The bottom line is a respectable B-.

McMillan at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. The linebacker hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

The cost of the McCaffrey reach is exactly the players who went right after him. The roster is better shaped than it was, with interior defensive lineman chief among the fixes.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the linebacker spot they never got to.
