Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Seahawks spent slot 136 on Donovan Smith, a name the board had a full 82 spots lower. The board pushed back all weekend, and the D- is the result.

If one pick saves this weekend, it is Neal. Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. Job largely done: edge rusher settled and 8 of 8 of the wish list covered.
