You build a draft on nights like this. Xavier Nwankpa had no business being available in slot 116, and the 49ers did the only sane thing and turned in the card. Call it a sensible B+, earned the boring way.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. The Sanders reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with offensive lineman chief among the fixes.
