McConkey should have been long gone. The Bengals pounced, and earned a D.

Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Ladd McConkey got past him. The Bengals do not have to explain a thing at Round 5, Pick 12. Too much went sideways, and the D is the honest tally.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. A whole weekend of picks and linebacker is somehow still a want. Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even.
