A costly weekend of dealing drags the Chiefs to a D.

The war room fell hard for Tyler Loop, and it showed at the 197th pick: 122 picks ahead of a board that had other ideas. Too much went sideways, and the D is the honest tally.

However the rest shakes out, Bryant at that price is a win they earned. Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere.

Spending an early pick on cornerback with quarterback open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and quarterback is still a hole.
