The Packers did not so much draft Kimani Vidal as overpay for him, 38 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend. A dependable weekend that grades out a B+.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. The Gore Jr. steal is the beam this whole class leans on. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Tyrann Mathieu gives the group a proven body among the projects.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
