The Raiders won the night they stopped Stone from sliding. Grade: A. Thirty-one other rooms let David Stone slide, and the Raiders were the ones holding the card at the Round 4 slot. Highway robbery.
They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. The Raiders paired the rookies with proven help, Trevor Lawrence leading the way. Job largely done: edge rusher settled and 3 of 3 of the wish list covered.
Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
Bottom line, they did the job about as well as it can be done.
