Quarterback settled, Daniels in the fold, and a F for the Seahawks.

The Seahawks looked at the value chart, folded it up, and took Mohamed Kamara at pick No. 81 regardless, 49 picks early. It bottoms out at a F.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. The whole projection now runs through Jayden Daniels; hit there and everything else looks smarter. Spending an early pick on safety with running back, tight end and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.

That running back hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. On value alone, Greenfield makes the weekend a net positive. It is a win-now wager, and the future is the stake.

Bottom line, it will take a lot of luck to make this look better later.
