When a board-topper like Le'Veon Moss slides to pick No. 234, you do not overthink it, and the Seahawks did not. Call it a sensible B+, earned the boring way.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. They will need Nelson to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

Spending an early pick on safety with edge rusher, wide receiver and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
