The Chiefs cashed the board's mistake on Mafah: B-.

The board owed the Chiefs one, and it paid up: Phil Mafah, the No. 229 name on the board, sitting there at slot 251 like a gift left on the doorstep. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.

A whole weekend of picks and tight end is somehow still a want. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
