Draft Grade — Eagles
Overall D-
ValueB- NeedB+ TradesF FutureC
The Eagles lost the trade table, and the D- tells the story.

The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Eagles reached some 34 spots for Ben Sinnott, and value like that does not grow back. Too much went sideways, and the D- is the honest tally.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

The McCormick pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

The verdict is not kind, and fairly so; this class has a hill to climb.

Pick Analysis
Pick22 Rnd1 Quinyon Mitchell
Quinyon Mitchell at the Round 1 slot nudges the ledger their way without any fuss. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick27 Rnd1 Tyler Guyton
In pick 27 they get a cornerstone up front. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick46 Rnd2 Edgerrin Cooper
A tidy little value on Edgerrin Cooper in slot 46, a step better than break-even. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
Pick50 Rnd2 Xavier Worthy
Xavier Worthy in the 50th overall pick is exactly on the number, no argument either way. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick90 Rnd3 Christian Mahogany
The board had cheaper options than Christian Mahogany at pick No. 90, and it noticed. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick98 Rnd3 Ben Sinnott
They reached a country mile for Ben Sinnott at the 98th pick, and the board is aghast. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick117 Rnd4 Tykee Smith
The board screamed and they did not listen, reaching into the next round for Tykee Smith. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick171 Rnd5 Mason McCormick
Mason McCormick at the 171st overall pick is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
