The Chargers did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Jake Majors fell into slot 157. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

Lachey has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.

On the needs board they went 4 of 8, with interior defensive lineman the one that mattered most.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
