The Titans treated their own grade as gospel and everyone else's as noise, spending No. 173 on Jimmy Horn Jr. a full 135 spots early.

Sampson falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast.

The Titans clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.
