Draft Grade — Titans
Overall B
ValueC+ NeedB TradesA+ FutureB-
The Titans fleeced the room on the phones and earned a B.

The Titans put a flag in the ground for Richard Jibunor, 47 picks before anyone else would have, and the value took the hit. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. Leaving running back unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The Tee Higgins pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns.

They left with offensive lineman solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.

Pick Analysis
Pick38 Rnd2 Darius Robinson
No drama and no debate, Darius Robinson went about where he belonged in the 38th overall pick. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick51 Rnd2 Patrick Paul
This one needs a full-page explanation: Patrick Paul in Round 2, Pick 19, miles early. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick97 Rnd3 Khyree Jackson
A market-rate cornerback, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Khyree Jackson. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Pick106 Rnd4 Cole Bishop
By-the-book stuff, Cole Bishop at pick 106 squarely in line with his ranking. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Pick119 Rnd4 Roger Rosengarten
Roger Rosengarten in the Round 4 slot is the kind of reach that only looks good if he outplays it. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick146 Rnd5 Tommy Eichenberg
A straight-up fair deal on Tommy Eichenberg at the 146th pick, value and slot in agreement. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick168 Rnd5 Tanor Bortolini
Tanor Bortolini at the Round 5 slot is a steep price for a hunch, hard to square with any board. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick221 Rnd7 Richard Jibunor
Richard Jibunor at slot 221 is an overdraft of the loud, memorable kind. A pick in search of a role on this roster.
