The Steelers did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Ollie Gordon II fell into No. 227. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Safety is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.

Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
