The Seahawks bet the future on McCarthy. The board says D+.

The Seahawks lost the trade war and it was not close, handing partners the better end again and again. A D+ that will need time and luck to look better.

Everything downstream of J.J. McCarthy depends on J.J. McCarthy, and the building knows it. Sinnott has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The wide receiver spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

That is a linebacker worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, wide receiver very much included.
