A costly weekend of dealing drags the Panthers to a D-.

Nobody had Jaheim Bell this high, and it is not close. The Panthers reached 36 spots to get him at the Round 4 slot. The board pushed back all weekend, and the D- is the result.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. They will regret leaving linebacker for another day if the season turns on it.

However the rest shakes out, Clark at that price is a win they earned. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

In short, the board sent warnings, and they will be hoping it was wrong.
