If confidence were a draft strategy, the Colts would have aced it. Marshawn Kneeland at pick No. 46 is 44 spots clear of where he belonged. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. They will regret leaving running back for another day if the season turns on it. Spending an early pick on cornerback with running back, tight end and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.

They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but running back.
