You could see the war room lean forward. Tai Felton at slot 149 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.

That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. If Vinson pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 7 of 8 of the wish list covered.

They trusted the board more than the depth chart.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
