Call it larceny. Jer'Zhan Newton sat on the board until pick 61, and the Lions did not need to be asked twice. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

The Taylor pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. Leaving linebacker unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes.
