The Seahawks let Mafah fall into their laps, and walked away with a B-.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Seahawks were there to profit. Phil Mafah, the No. 153 name on the board, should have been long gone before the Round 7 slot.

They are betting Jackson proves the room right and everyone else wrong. With edge rusher, quarterback and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on safety is the choice that costs them.

They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
