There is reaching, and then there is Collin Oliver at the Round 7 slot. The 49ers jumped the board by 39 and dared it to prove them wrong. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.

Landing Fannin Jr. that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with offensive lineman chief among the fixes.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
