The Steelers did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and DJ Giddens fell into No. 247.

The Truss pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The roster is better shaped than it was, with interior defensive lineman chief among the fixes.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.
