The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Giants watched CJ Allen slide 20 picks past his grade and did not hesitate.

The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The Carmona reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. They left with safety solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Good work on the whole, with interior defensive lineman the one box left unchecked.
