Larceny in slot 198 lands the Rams a B, Weigman and all.

Somebody in the 198th overall pick was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Rams sat still while Conner Weigman, the No. 167 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.

They will regret leaving wide receiver for another day if the season turns on it. Job largely done: safety settled and 5 of 8 of the wish list covered.

The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
