For all the boxes ticked, the Lions skipped the loudest one: quarterback is exactly as bare as it was. A dependable weekend that grades out a B-.

Every board in the league had Wilson lower, and that gap is the story. They banked enough surplus on Jackson to cover a lot of smaller sins.

They went 6 of 9 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
