The trade table was where it all came apart. The Lions shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill.

A whole weekend of picks and linebacker is somehow still a want. However the rest shakes out, Hampton at that price is a win they earned.

The bill for those future picks comes due whether the class hits or not.

In the end, a class the front office will want to grow past quickly.
