The Broncos got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the D+.

It is the swing that defines the weekend: DeMonte Capehart in pick 237, a good 61 spots before the room expected him. Too much went sideways, and the D+ is the honest tally.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. They will regret leaving tight end for another day if the season turns on it.

The veteran additions, Josh Uche chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Magee.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, tight end very much included.
