Milton III should have been long gone. The Bills pounced, and earned a B. Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Joe Milton III got past him. The Bills do not have to explain a thing at the Round 6 slot. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.
The Cephus reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. For all the activity, tight end went untouched, which is hard to explain. They left with linebacker solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
They bet on numbers rather than a single high pick.
In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
