The phones were a trap the Panthers kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal.

So much rides on Drake Maye that the rest of the class almost grades on a curve behind him. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped offensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Newton.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, offensive lineman very much included.
