Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the 49ers spent slot 171 on Phillip Webb, a name most had 167 spots down the list.

The Skattebo pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast.

They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. Adding Derrick Brown by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies.
