The Lions got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the D.

Somebody took the Lions to the cleaners. The deals they made bled real value, and the whole class wears it.

For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. They are betting Vaki proves the room right and everyone else wrong. The bill for those future picks comes due whether the class hits or not.

The veteran additions, Travis Jonsen chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and quarterback is still a hole.
