Somebody in Round 5, Pick 22 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Steelers sat still while Lathan Ransom, the No. 110 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

Reaching for Webb left real value on the table behind him. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
