A respectable, level-headed haul for the Jaguars: B+.

You can draft well and still miss the point. The Jaguars did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to interior defensive lineman, which was the need that mattered most. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B+.

On value alone, Jones makes the weekend a net positive. They will need Grimes to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. The Jaguars paired the rookies with proven help, Darius Slay leading the way.

They squeezed a little extra out of every move they made.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
