You could see the war room lean forward. Jake Majors at Round 5, Pick 15 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. No fireworks, but a solid B-.

With cornerback, interior defensive lineman and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on safety is the choice that costs them. The cornerback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Tight end was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

The back end got a real overhaul.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.

Steal is underselling it; Jake Majors at pick 152 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
