Somebody in pick 198 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Lions sat still while Devin Neal, the No. 84 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.

The cost of the Gregory reach is exactly the players who went right after him. Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.
