Draft Grade — Giants
Overall D
ValueB+ NeedB TradesF FutureC+
The Giants found their guy under center in Beck: D.

Every swap seemed to tilt away from the Giants, and the value they bled adds up to real damage.

The whole projection now runs through Carson Beck; hit there and everything else looks smarter. Getting Nussmeier where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

In short, the board sent warnings, and they will be hoping it was wrong.

Pick Analysis
Pick6 Rnd1 Carson Beck
In Round 1, Pick 6 they get a franchise quarterback. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick7 Rnd1 Will Campbell
In the 7th overall pick they get a blindside protector at fair value. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick38 Rnd2 Luther Burden III
Circle this one: Luther Burden III at the Round 2 slot is a fall that decides a draft. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick71 Rnd3 Kenneth Grant
They robbed the room for Kenneth Grant here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick80 Rnd3 Rod Moore
They stopped a slide they were happy to see, landing Rod Moore in the 80th pick. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick81 Rnd3 Donovan Jackson
Fair-plus on Donovan Jackson, a quiet win that adds up over a draft. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick105 Rnd4 Blake Miller
Blake Miller in pick 105 is a gift, value that borders on unfair. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick109 Rnd4 Garrett Nussmeier
Garrett Nussmeier at pick No. 109 is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick134 Rnd5 Devin Neal
Devin Neal in pick 134 should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick139 Rnd5 Tyler Warren
The board fumbled Tyler Warren all the way to Round 5, Pick 11, and they scooped it up. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick144 Rnd5 Nick Emmanwori
A safety of that caliber at the 144th pick is the definition of value, full stop. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick166 Rnd6 Gentry Williams
A market-rate cornerback, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Gentry Williams. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick176 Rnd6 Moose Muhammad III
Moose Muhammad III at slot 176 nudges the ledger their way without any fuss. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick198 Rnd7 Jake Briningstool
Jake Briningstool at No. 198 is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick219 Rnd7 Steve Linton
Steve Linton in the 219th overall pick is exactly on the number, no argument either way. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
