Draft Grade — Jets
Overall D
ValueB NeedB+ TradesF FutureB-
Daniels is the plan now, and the Jets grade out a D.

The trade table was where it all came apart. The Jets shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill. A weekend that fought the value and lost, hence the D.

Whatever Jayden Daniels becomes, the front office has tied its fortunes to the answer. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. Milton III has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

The Worthy pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and edge rusher is still a hole.

Pick Analysis
Pick10 Rnd1 Jayden Daniels
In slot 10 they get the arm they will build around at fair value. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick72 Rnd3 Patrick Paul
Patrick Paul at the 72nd overall pick is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick78 Rnd3 Xavier Worthy
The board fumbled Xavier Worthy all the way to pick No. 78, and they scooped it up. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick81 Rnd3 Marist Liufau
Marist Liufau in the 81st pick is fair value, right on his grade. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Pick112 Rnd4 Beau Brade
They took Beau Brade at par in the Round 4 slot, which is nothing to complain about. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick119 Rnd4 Khyree Jackson
Khyree Jackson at No. 119 is money in the bank, a cornerback taken below his worth. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick144 Rnd5 MarShawn Lloyd
Good things come to war rooms that wait, and MarShawn Lloyd at pick 144 is the proof. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick151 Rnd5 Joe Milton III
The board screamed and they did not listen, reaching into the next round for Joe Milton III. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick187 Rnd6 AJ Barner
AJ Barner in Round 6, Pick 12 is the kind of reach that only looks good if he outplays it. It adds depth where they could use a little.
Pick226 Rnd7 Erick All
A market-rate tight end, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Erick All. Insurance at a position that did not really ask for it.
