The value of the weekend has a name and a slot: James Burnip, pick No. 252, roughly 84 picks past where he belonged. The bottom line is a respectable B+.

The cost of the Jefferson reach is exactly the players who went right after him. Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
