The Patriots let Whittington fall and pounced. Final grade: B.

Somebody in No. 224 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Patriots sat still while Jordan Whittington, the No. 199 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. Mims has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.

Value with a capital V on Cam Hart in Round 6, Pick 6, a genuine coup. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.

The board fumbled Jordan Whittington all the way to the Round 7 slot, and they scooped it up. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
